Happy 2013 everyone!

Welcome to my Blog about what's happening in our very busy lifes. The boys are getting bigger every day and Steve and I are growing older but that's something that happens to every one and it is not worth mentioning at all.

I am going to add a couple of recent pictures of us and the kids. Most of them will be from 2012 because at the last quarter of last year I was too busy to do anything but work and play with the kids so this Blog amongst other things that I would like to take better care of, was neglected.

However, rejoice, because now I am back and photos will be here!

Today no new fotos...

... just a few updates on what's happening. The boys had a great easter, unfortunately the weather was bad and the easter eggs had to be hunted and found in the living room. It was the first time the kids had that much chocolate in their lives and now they think they should have it everyday. They also enjoyed the company of our cousin and her niece from New York - so much that they want to know where they are when they wake up in the morning. We are all looking forward to warmer weather and our hopefully sunny holiday to Ireland. The boys will be camping for the first time and we will have to try it out before we go. Also, they will soon be sleeping on a mattrace on the floor before moving into their bunk beds sometime next year our perhaps only in 2014. I am not looking forward to the fights about who's sleeping in the upper and who in the lower bunk. But that's still a few days away and there are many things to be happy about and look forward to.

Heute keine Fotos...

..dafuer ein paar Infos. Ringo und Tiger hatten ein schoenes Osterfest, es gab die Osternester dieses Jahr leider drinnen, da es draussen hagelte und es auch sonst sehr ungemuetlich war. Das hat sie aber ueberhaupt nicht gestoert, sie haben ihre Nester auch gleich gefunden und durften einen GANZEN Osterhasen auf einmal essen. Das war besser als Weihnachten. Ausserdem hatten wir Besuch aus New York, Katie und Deirdre werden seit Montag heftigst vermisst. Vielleicht ergibt es sich ja bald einmal, dass wir alle zusammen die Verwandtschaft dort besuchen, Platz gibt es sicherlich genug. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren Urlaub in Irland, zelten wollen und muessen wir vorher mit den Kindern testen um zu sehen, ob es ihnen ueberhaupt gefaellt. Dazu muss es jetzt nur noch ein bisschen waermer werden. Dann bekommen die Jungs auch daheim eine grosse Matratze auf dem Boden, bevor sie im naechsten oder uebernaechsten Jahr in ein Stockbett umziehen. Ich kann mir schon das Geschrei vorstellen und den Streit, wer oben und wer unten schlafen darf. Argh... Da muessen wir dann aber einfach durch.

Hier sind wir abgelichtet bevor wir zu einer Faschingsparty starteten, die Jungs hatte ein Wichtel- und ein Haikostüm an aber fanden die jeweils andere Kopfbedeckung schöner oder passender. Also haben wir hier einen Wichtelhai und einen Haiwichtel, das fanden sie akzeptabel und wir haben sehr darüber gelacht.

Hier hat unser kleiner R. seinen zweiten Geburtstag und feiert mit seinen Freunden aus dem Kinderhaus. Sie haben ihm eine Tasche gebastelt, die wir auch fleissig in Gebrauch haben. Es war ein schönes Fest und R. hat sich sehr gefreut, besonders über den leckeren Kuchen, den sein Papi für ihn gebacken hatte.

Neuigkeiten aus der Platenstrasse

So, jetzt isses mal wieder soweit, es gibt einen Blog-Eintrag! Tadahh! Ich stell einfach mal ein paar Fotos ein, ich hoffe, ihr habt alle ein bisschen Spass daran.

Auf diesem Foto sind die beiden Jungs bei ihrem ersten und in diesem Winter 2011/2012 fast einzigen Ausflug in den Schnee zu sehen. R. hatte schon bald genug davon und beide waren ganz froh, als sie wieder im Warmen waren.

Trotzdem fanden sie das Schlittenfahren so schön, dass sie es am liebsten an jedem Wochenende machen wollen. Leider - bzw. zum Glück! - haben wir schon lange keinen Schnee mehr... ;-)
