Our vacation in Normandy

So today is the beginning of autumn, soon the leafes will say good-bye to their trees and sail down to the ground. But in Normandy we had a great time, the weather, the air, the sea, it was all really good. We could even go for a number of spins on the tandem and enjoyed the fact that everything we like about France was available to us starting at breakfast with croissants and fresh pains au chocolat. Tiger dipped his foot into the sea and Ringo enjoyed being snuggled by me along the shore, breathing in fresh air galore. Soon our eight days of freedom were over and we had to go home. Now I am looking forward to a long weekend with my friends Teri and Deirdre in New York, doing girly stuff and hopefully getting some uninterrupted sleep at night.

Unser Urlaub in der Normandie

Schon ist es September, heute Herbstanfang, und bald werden die Blätter von sämtlichen Bäumen segeln. In der Normandie war es wunderschön, das Wetter, die Luft, das Meer, es war herrlich. Wir konnten auch mit dem Tandem ein paar schöne Touren fahren und haben es genossen, schon zum Frühstück leckere Croissants and pains au chocolat zu futtern. Tiger hat seine erste richtige Meererfahrung gemacht und Ringo durfte an mich geschmiegt am Strand die frische Seeluft einatmen. Schnell waren die acht Tage vorbei und schon jetzt freue ich mich auf ein paar schöne Tage in New York mit Teri Ende Oktober. Bin schon gespannt, wie Halloween in den USA gefeiert wird.
