Das hat ja wieder gedauert, bis hier ein Eintrag erfolgte! Ich hoffe, es hat niemand die Luft angehalten und auf ihn gewartet ;-) Jetzt kommt er aber.
Im Januar waren wir bis zum 10ten alle daheim, die Krippe war geschlossen und wir haben die Kinder soweit das ging daheim bespasst. Steve's Eltern waren zu Besuch bis zum 31.12.10 und Steve flog dann am 1. Januar gleich für ein paar Tage nach Irland. Meine Eltern haben uns am 02.01. besucht, wir hatten ein paar schöne Stunden zusammen. Am Wochenende darauf waren Steve und ich in Holland und durften unsere eLearning Kompetenz vor einem grossen Fachpublikum bewerben. Es war eine tolle Sache! Danach kehrte Normalität ein, wenn man mal davon absieht, dass die Kinder dann beide wieder einen schweren Husten hatten.
Steves und Tigers Geburtstag sind schon vorbei, die beiden hatten einen schönen Tag. Tiger hatte soviel Zucker wie noch nie zuvor in seinem kurzen Leben und mochte auch gar nicht mehr still sitzen oder stehen. Nächste Woche feiern wir Ringos ersten Geburtstag, es ist kaum zu glauben, dass er jetzt schon eins wird. Das vergangene Jahr ist schnell vergangen, nachdem sich die ersten Monate anfühlten, wie Uhu, rasten dann die Monate seit September nur so an uns vorbei. Ich habe eine Vermutung, dass das jetzt häufiger so sein wird... Ich freue mich auf eine Auszeit in Amerika zu meinem Geburtstag und kann es kaum erwarten, meine Freunde dort zu treffen.

Hopefully nobody held their breath to see this post but here it is anyway!
We spent a quiet time over Christmas and on Jan 10th the children went back to school. Until then we had Steve's parents visiting and Steve went to Ireland for a short stay in the first week of the new year. My parents came and saw us on the 2nd of Jan and we had a jolly good time. When the children went back to school we all went back to work and our normal schedule set back in quickly. The boys had a bad cough but are much better now.
Steve and Tiger had their birthdays and I am guessing they enjoyed their days. Steve had made cake for himself and Tiger and the boy got his first sugar rush. He just wouldn't stop running around. We will celebrate Ringo's first birthday next week, it's unbelievable he's with us for a year already. The first few months were hard but as of September time seem to have just flown by. I am guessing this sensation will kind of settle in for the next couple of years. I am looking forward to celebrating my own birthday in the US with some of my friends and catch up on some sleep.
